UPDATE: Due to Hurricane Ian, Zonta’s Peek at the Unique Auction will be delayed. Please check back on exact start dates.
The Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva will kick off its annual fundraiser, Zonta’s Peek at the Unique Auction, on Oct.1. It will run through the entire month, with the last day for bids on Oct. 31.
The online auction will feature more than 50 creations, with values ranging from a few dollars to thousands, all donated by local businesses, individuals and artists. Bid on places to stay, from Sanibel to Asheville, North Carolina, and grab show tickets, art, books, handbags, jewelry, culinary delights and more. Participants can bid on their chosen item and are encouraged to keep bidding to win it.
“This year we can even text you when you’re outbid,” Auction Committee Co-chair Pam Eccles said.
For the complete catalog, visit www.32auctions.com/ZontaPEEK22.
“Think holiday gifts,” Co-chair Nancy Dreher said of the items up for grabs.
Arrangements for pick up for the winning bidders will vary by item.
Known for its support of organizations that champion women and girls, the club is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Proceeds will be awarded in grants to organizations whose mission mirrors Zonta’s own.
Those who want to support the cause but not participate in the auction can donate on the auction website or send a check to Zonta Foundation of SWFL, P.O. Box 1244, Sanibel, FL 33957.
