Due to the last-minute cancellation of the 19th annual “Peek at the Unique”, and in company with many island organizations, Zonta will face a larger than usual shortfall when grants to local non-profits are decided later this year: estimated proceeds are around $30,000 below the figure for recent years.
To address the situation, Zonta created a video “tour” of the homes chosen for 2020, seeking to provide a “Peek” experience, but from the safety of your home, on computer, TV or phone.
First, a private YouTube link to the tour was sent to Peek ticket buyers who generously allowed Zonta to keep those contributions. And now, a special offer: for a donation of $100 or more to Zonta’s work, you can access this unprecedented virtual tour, featuring all five homes and brief comments from three of the homeowners.
Peek co-chair Susan Tucker said: “While Zontians truly enjoy the experience of hosting the Peek, we never forget that our primary purpose is raising funds to help women.”
Visit ZontaSanCap.com/Peek to download the 2020 Peek booklet, also available at SanCap Pak-n-Ship and Qwik Pack & Ship. To donate, simply click on the burgundy “Donate” button at the top of this page. Zonta accepts major credit and debit cards plus PayPal. And thank you to everyone who has supported “Peek at the Unique”, this year and every year.
