PEEK 2013:
Saturday, March 16th is the date of the 12th annual “A Peek at the Unique,” the record-setting home tour and signature fund raiser for the Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva and a sought-after day out for islanders, seasonal residents and visitors from off island.
The guided tour of four island homes, each one unique in its own way, takes about three hours. Guests ride comfortably on air-conditioned buses with an experienced tour attendant and receive specific information about each home visited. Prior to boarding, they enjoy delicious refreshments provided by leading island restaurants and caterers. The tour departure point will return to the Sanibel Community Church, recently reopened after extensive renovations and improvements.
The team has also announced that ticket prices for the tour remain unchanged at $65.00. The tour has invariably sold out. Call now to order your tickets:

Funds raised come from ticket sales, business sponsors, individual benefactors, Chance at the Unique Raffle prizes and a special raffle the day of the event. Proceeds from the 2012 Peek were the highest ever, and the club will soon distribute $66,000 in grants to local organizations that focus on improving the status of women. This is in addition to $21,000 pledged to Zonta International in support of global initiatives that target women’s needs for health, financial independence and freedom from violence and slavery.
The monies raised by the Peek are granted by the Zonta Foundation of Southwest Florida to local and international organizations that are consistent with the Zonta mission: to advance the status of women and girls worldwide.

Tickets are $65 each and can be paid for by credit card or check. Early -bird invitations have gone out via e-mail to former Peekers .
Tickets for the buses go on sale to the general public January 30, 2013. In order to get tickets for buses, you can download the form in the Announcement section below and mail it to the post office box on the form. If you are paying by credit card you can fill out the form and email it back to ZontaPeekTickets@gmail.com

At the first of March a letter will be mailed telling you your specific bus time. Tickets always go very fast, so place your order as soon as possible. Sorry there are no refunds.

Key to a successful Peek are the businesses and individuals that are sponsoring the event. Sponsorships are offered at various levels, from an overall event, house, coupon, and program sponsors. Businesses receive various levels of press associated with Zonta's Peek before, during, and after the event. Look for information about the various sponsorship options available in the Sponsor agreement form. Individual benefactors will be listed in the program.

As part of the March 16th Peek fundraiser, Zonta sponsors a "Chance at the Unique" raffle of unique prizes. Tickets are sold by Zontians during the two months prior to the Peek. Winners will be drawn at the conclusion of Peek day (you do not need to be present to win but you do need to buy a ticket!). Only a limited number of tickets are sold, and they are available from any Zonta member for just $10. Tickets will also be on sale at Baileys’ during the weekends in February, one Sunday at the Farmer’s Market, and at the Peek on the day of the tour. When a ticket is purchased the buyer chooses which of the 6 prizes they want to win.
