Don’t miss this year’s one-of-a-kind home tour on Sanibel!  The Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva is delighted to announce its 2025 “Peek at the Unique,” set for Saturday, March 15 at the Sanibel Community House.  Tour buses will transport guests to four distinctive island homes, each with unique features, and with a focus on resilience as the island continues its recovery.

New for this year:  an elevated home with resilience features; a 36-year-old mid-island home that has had several incarnations; a home with eco-sensibilities and a closeness to nature; and a formerly ground-level home successfully elevated post-hurricane. Tickets at $75.00 each are on sale now and going fast.

The tour begins at “Skyview Retreat” on Library Way.  Built in 1989 and operated as the Tin Can Alley gallery, the structure became a home decor boutique and was featured on the “Peek” of 2010.  Now, converted by a new owner for whole-house use on three floors, it includes a spiral staircase to the rooftop deck.

The tour proceeds to a Gulf access pool home that—after severe damage from Hurricane Ian—was elevated by ten feet and updated.
